Substrate Constructs
In this installation, white cubes of varying sizes connect the two-dimensional screen with the architectural space surrounding our bodies. Common art materials comprise these solids, which are reinterpreted as simple rectangular volumes and form a clustered composition. The cluster expands into the surrounding environment, reconfigures everyday architectural elements such as windows and walls, and blurs the boundaries between physical space and two-dimensional planes while challenging the division between art and ordinary life.
